I'll believe it when I see it. Been an awful long time since it stopped working. Sometimes I think the update should all be trashed!

Well, nothing so far. If it happens, I will shout. I did receive several updates this morning, but I don't know if any were related to this. I cant install all of them. I am running an old Dell with x32 based system that came with Vista, was then updated to 8.1 pro. This machine is not exactly compatible with the installation and becomes less and less so with every new update. I am living on borrowed time.

Same problem here. Can't install or even open Windows Apps. My other computers run Windows 10 Pro and no problem. This seems to be only with Windows 8.1.

I have had same problem and have reset/re-installed Win 8.1 about three times. Sadly I have no other option for getting apps on to this tablet as it is Windows RT.

I am in IT so you would think I had handle on this but MS really threw a curve ball with this one....

Have the exact same problem also apps owned but not used are now quoted by Microsoft as (not available ) so all lost even if paid for?

I have a Surface 2 Windows 8.1 there seems to lie the problem it's not windows 10 ?
