File System Error (-2147219196) - Can't open photos, groove, calculator...

Updated to Version 1803 OS Build 17134.1

Now cannot open Photos, Groove, Calculator, and I'm sure a bunch of other apps....

Any help would be appreciated.

Open Start, type: powershell

Right click PowerShell

Click Run as administrator



Type the following command then hit Enter, exit PowerShell then restart, then try updating through the Store again.



Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($\_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Check if you can launch the Microsoft Store, then update the apps.

If this does not work, I recommend you attempt a repair upgrade:

    I am having similar issue with one of our client machine, have tried the repairing the app, reset the app, uninstall and reinstall app through Microsoft Store and still same error. Also tried uninstalling some windows update and update the display driver to the latest Intel HD 620.

    Tried the PowerShell command but that ran into an error. Is there anything else beside repair upgrade?
