something went wrong while trying to turn on spatial sound
Please help,
i have Asus ROG GL-553VW and OS build - 17134.165 and i bought Dolby atoms but it's not working. I tried to update my drivers still no effect.
Please help

what do you mean dolby atmos updates? dolby atmos for home theater is from dolby access app. you can download from Microsoft store. if you plug HDMI to your receiver then can get 8 channel. I dont have receiver. I connect HDMI from soundbar to screen. TV HDMI only get 2 channel.

2018-12-25T03:43:40+00:00 There is 2 kind HDMI cable. one is high speed and i think you need to use it. (for example xbox 1 x using that cable) for 4k view. maybe u need that cable.

I use dipay port connect to TV HDMI. yes. HDMI 2.1 specification with new ultra high speed HDMI cable. But normal TV only support 2 channel.

I had the same problem and it turn out the fix is really easy.
Go to your windows All Setting on Notification bar then click Ease of Access and go to Audio
From there make sure that mono audio is turned off.
