spatial sound is not Microsoft settings?
Yes, it is..... Yet neither Microsoft or Dolby seem overly concerned that thousands of people are unable to use the feature.
I bought an Nvidea Shield to try to circumvent this issue and all of a sudden my HTPC started pushing out Atmos to my receiver. I decided I didn't need the Switch and sent it back and shortly after my HTPC stopped processing Atmos again. This whole thing is really annoying.
I got the same problem. When I go into Spatial Sound settings, I can choose Dolby Atmos for Home Theater, and the app is installed, but when I go and press apply, it tells me "Something went wrong while trying to turn on spatial sounds" and reverts back to "off".
Please help.
