Hi
Trying to start my pc and get this message:-
Location is not available
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If this location is on this PC, make sure that the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure that you're connected to the network or internet, then try again. If the location still can not be found, it might have been moved or deleted.
Can someone please advise how to fix

Hi Danny, can you get into Windows File Explorer?
If so:, open Windows File Explorer
On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'
C:\users\Default\
Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder
Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile
Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder
Restart (not shut sown) your PC

After many days of stress, a friend eventually helped me with a solution. Holding SHIFT key whilst performing a RESTART of PC. This brought me to the recovery page and I was then able to restore to the first version of Windows 10 that was installed on the PC. I had lost office 2007 that I had installed, but other files / documents were accessible. Once I re-install office 2007 I should be back to normal. Hope this works for you too.
This looks to be a known issue as I am seeing a bunch of those.
Please rollback to previous build for the time being and let 1803 mature:
Same issue as the OP and am unable to get to Explorer. What's worse is not able to rollback either because it says it's unable to. My PC is completely unusable after the last Win10 update. Not sure what to do. Please help.
