I hope this gets fixed soon. It might damage my laptop permanently and I don't know who's to blame in that case

Microsoft is working on a solution with the goal of including it in the next regular monthly update, currently targeted for a release date of May 8, 2018.
Update (5/8/18): A solution was included in the May 8th, 2018 cumulative update (KB4103721). Windows Update will automatically download and install the solution. To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If your system still experiences performance problems after installing the latest updates, you may be experiencing a different issue. That is because it does not work. I have tried it numerous times. The only thing that works is manually powering down which will put excess wear and tear on your system.
After latest cumulative update a couple days ago my laptop is locking up using Edge. To a point where cursor freezes and cannot even get to Task Manager. Have to do a forced power shutdown. These updates going from bad to worse for me and nothing special about my notebook. Typical Dell Inspiron 5567 with Defender AV and using Edge browser.
Here they are saying only for certain apps. My laptop is randomly freezing and hanging although i am not using any apps or chrome. I reinstalled the windows but still same problem.
I also have the same problem...
It seems that my laptop hangs up when I am using Microsoft edge while watching youtube.
I hope the post an update on this soon :(
I was told. After the last Windows Update for Windows 10. Google Chrome will not work properly. Why is that?
