Can anyone here talk to Microsoft Engineers, because I have a similar issue that only started happening since the April 2018 update for Windows 10.
Since this is very similar to my issue that has not been addressed, I am asking here if anyone else is still having issues.
In my case, I can 100% duplicate this issue with the Xbox App.
When I open this up, the mouse sometimes stops working and becomes very laggy. It is almost as if the CPU has it 100% across all cores. The other thing I have noticed, is that I can get black screens and if I check in the Event Viewer there is an entry at
the same time saying that my Nvidia drive has stopped and recovered.
I can make the PC (Windows 10 1803) hang for up to 5 minutes, but just hitting the refresh icon on the Xbox App and again it shows a black screen and same entry in the Event viewer.
I am at a loss to explain why this is only happening for me with the Xbox App, at least I have only noticed it with the Xbox App.
I posted in here on another thread and they suggested that I repair/refresh and also check the integrity of Windows. Windows integrity is fine, SFC reports no problems and I am not going to refresh my PC and reinstall terabytes on data. But I did go one
better, by installing Windows 10 as a fresh install on a completely separate drive. And installed nothing, but the drivers for the Video Card and it does the same exact thing.
I have been wondering if this was an issue with hardware on my PC, but nothing points to that at this stage and it seems a coincidence that it only started happening since this April 2018 Windows 10 update.
