Neuro-programmer 3.exe - .Net Famework Initialization Error please set registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK\ install root to point to the .NET Framework Install location Can anyone help me resolve this error- I installed this program for the first time on to my windows 10 x64 brand new laptop and it is supposed to be compatible with windows 10 - when I try to open it I get the above error. i had to use revo to uninstall should I try to fix this before I re install or should I reinstall first and fix later. Any idea how to fix this - I have never edited a registry and am kind of nervous to do so- I need this computer to make a living and don't want to mess it up- took me weeks to get it set up in the first place so don't want to have to do a wipe and restore. The do say that it can be used with versions of windows prior to 10. Would like to see this fixed. my checking into this it looks like they changed the key where .NETFramework is located. from what I can see it should point to here. From what I've read, I agree that getting the BBB involved may be the best next step.

I also have the same problem with windows 10 and neuro-programmer. Neuro-Programmer worked fine in windows 10 for a while. There ought to be some kind of easy simple fix somewhere. That's easy and simple for a programmer. Its seems although there are a number of people with the same problem there are not enough to warrant a programmers time. I hope someone will get back to me if a fix is found. Thanks

I believe that this software has officially become "abandonware." I believe this because brain.fm continues to work and continues to be updated with new music. They have people working there. As you mentioned fixing neuroprogrammer and mindworkstation would be a simple programming fix, but I don't think they intend to fix the issues. I wonder if they would be open to transferring any kind of licenses, etc. to those willing to maintain the software. Anything would be better than just leaving it broken like they seem to have decided to do.
