100% agree Deborah - we are going to fix this! I think BBB is first step because we definitely have a claim, hinging IMO upon the june 6th posting about providing at least 1 year support and indefinite access to member's area, then shutting the website down a few months later with no warning. Does anyone have copies of any original warrantee info? A lot of the website is archived at webarchive: https://web.archive.org/web/20170703075749/https://www.transparentcorp.com/support/contact.php
Personally, I've spent money on a whole suite of equipment that I no longer can use - MWS Pro, Kasina, EMOTIV EEG, all the thoughtsounds and more. Plus the 1000s of hours I put into learning and working with the software to create tracks I can no longer play or modify. Add that to the lost revenue from working with clients and producing quality research.
So, we undoubtedly have what we need for a successful BBB claim. From there, filing a class action consumer fraud lawsuit should be straightforward and shouldn't require any payment upfront if the lawyers think the case is winnable. Any research on that front would be incredibly helpful to "the cause". And original warrantees, if anyone can dig some up.
