Neuro-programmer 3.exe - .Net Famework Initialization Error

please set registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK\ install root to point to the .NET Framework Install location

Can anyone help me resolve this error- I installed this program for the first time on to my windows 10 x64 brand new laptop and it is supposed to be compatible with windows 10 - when I try to open it I get the above error. i had to use revo to uninstall

  • should I try to fix this before I re install or should I reinstall first and fix later.

Any idea how to fix this - I have never edited a registry and am kind of nervous to do so- I need this computer to make a living and don't want to mess it up- took me weeks to get it set up in the first place so don't want to have to do a wipe and restore.

I hope I posted this in the right category

Thanks so much any help will be greatly appreciated

Michelle

I don't know who here uses Discord, but I created a server for this group and posted the membership link in this thread.

I am not a legal expert by any means....but I think the first step is to find a place all the people who've bought the software can come together.  From what I understand, when it comes to class action lawsuits, there is strength in numbers.  While you are in talks with Transparent corp (and I know they're probably reading this) we can spend the next few months coming together.  Whether it is an FB group, another board, but a place for us all to get together.

I've searched online (as I know many others have) on this issue.  I've come across other boards w/unhappy people.  I think if we all come together we'll have better odds of working out a solution.

I only want what I paid for.  I purchased my TCN program in 2014. I will be happy running my software on a Windows Vista environment.   The only thing keeping me from using my software atm is the activation...not a window's 10 updates, not compatibility issues....but their activation system.

I contacted Adam again today to follow up on my email. I had given them till the end of the year to come to a suitable agreement with us. In the meanwhile, I've contacted a few lawyers but am in dissertation mode and have little time to get the process started. Are anyone else interested/willing to get the ball rolling with the class action? I.e., preliminary consult, fee expectations, charges (consumer fraud?) and compensation? I will certainly help but I cannot do any more heavy lifting right now besides maintaining negotiations with Adam and TransparentCorp .

If there is a class action lawsuit, I am on board.  I just want what I paid for....access to the Transparent corp suite: Neuroprogrammer and Mind Studio.  I am so angry that they shut down their servers and website without notice.

I had my programs installed on a Windows 10 environment (did not update).  In September I went to the webpage and saw they were experiencing issues keeping their software update...

I thought they were giving us a year to prepare/plan a way to keep/maintain our investment.  In early October, not even 2 weeks later, I Installed parallels and windows vista so I could keep using Transparent Corp software.   But I could not activate the software.  And then I was shocked to see the site was down!!!

This goes against their statement that they would continue support for existing customers for up to 1 year and provide continued license keys:

    Our promise to existing customers:

    • CONTINUED SUPPORT: We will continue to provide support for at least one year from this date (6/19/2018). But please understand that due to this problem with Windows 10 our support is overloaded. We couldn’t have expected this. We will get back to you, we promise!
    • REFUNDS: If you have purchased within 90 days, simply submit a support ticket and we will get back to you with a refund. (if our response is delayed until after 90 days pass, we will of course still honor the refund!)
    • CONTINUED LICENSE KEYS: Our automated key generation system will continue to give you new keys for new computers indefinitely. You can always access these keys and re-download your purchases by logging into your Member’s Area account.

I have my original purchase email, my original activation keys, I want access to what I paid for.  I do not want to buy Sharm.....I do not want any other 'alternatives'.  I bought Transparent corp suite (and it was not cheap!)  And when I bought the software, their terms stated it was a lifetime license.

So yes, if there is a class action lawsuit, I am on board for getting ripped off.  This software is an integral part of my business and my practice.

And now I can't ever upgrade my copy of windows 10 so that I don't lose access to my investment.

I decided to go with Sharm software Which appears to be the closest to Neuro programmer. It is on sell for $100. I am tired of dealing with these people.
