Hyper V virtual machine in Windows ten and turn off updates if you need to, OS should continue to work
Getting the followong error when trying to launch a program...
Neuro-programmer 3.exe - .Net Famework Initialization Error
please set registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK\ install root to point to the .NET Framework Install location
Can anyone help me resolve this error- I installed this program for the first time on to my windows 10 x64 brand new laptop and it is supposed to be compatible with windows 10 - when I try to open it I get the above error. i had to use revo to uninstall
- should I try to fix this before I re install or should I reinstall first and fix later.
Any idea how to fix this - I have never edited a registry and am kind of nervous to do so- I need this computer to make a living and don't want to mess it up- took me weeks to get it set up in the first place so don't want to have to do a wipe and restore.
I hope I posted this in the right category
Thanks so much any help will be greatly appreciated
Michelle

2018-10-10T18:25:54+00:00 I paid like $6 on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Windows-7-Pro-License-key/283198721814?epid=1353442741&hash=item41eff58f16:g:ozoAAOSwkwdbr-Fc:rk:22:pf:0
And then use Windows 10 Hyper-V to run a virtual machine. Still stinks

2018-10-07T16:38:19+00:00 Temporary solution.
I have a win 7 laptop but ms will only be supporting that op system for a short time. I need to be able to use it on my new system. What a ripoff!!! Developer finds something that makes him more money and blows off paying customers. I also bought NP 2 which is useless even on win 7. If the sales ad would have said " This expensive software will be worthless in a few years" I would not have spent my money on it. We should get refunds! I almost bought the pro license. So glad I did not. Wish they would just keep the software updated. Thats the right thing to do.

2018-10-05T04:17:41+00:00 Hi and try this Url on Ebay:
Hopefully this will assist, and I went the virtual box / VM ware route but there was a delay. It seemed somewhat labored and the sound did not transfer from the page where you make the construct the personalized messages to the actual formation of a track. No problem. I just purchased an old laptop on Ebay with Windows 7 installed, and will use that. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks.

2018-10-02T03:14:04+00:00 Could you provide a url for where I could find an ISO copy for Windows (perhaps Win 7 or Win 8).
I mean all of my machines are running on Windows, though I am not sure whether I could locate the OS disk for any of them.
I don't suppose that one is really supposed to transfer Windows licenses from one computer to the next.
$14 does not seem unreasonable.
The Virtual Box program seems fairly easy to work with, I just need another earlier version of Win.
Why doesn't Windows have such a double operating feature as a standard? It would make a great deal of
sense. Transparent appeared to put in a reasonable effort to correct the problem, though yet more upgrades
to the OS thwarted their efforts. I would feel much better if I could buy software put it into the Virtual Box and
never have to worry that some new upgrade will result in a non-functioning program. I think it would be an amazing feature to have a Win Forever OS that you know would function no matter what. Many software companies might choose to code their software to such a standard and not an OS that is constantly changing.
