How to Change my child's age in my family account?

I am trying to change my child's age in the family account, as it was entered incorrectly. I saw this:

I'm a parent, trying to change my child's birthdate

  1. Using the parent's Microsoft account, sign in to your Family page on the Microsoft account website.
  2. Select Manage my child's profile info.
  3. For the child’s account that you want to change, select Edit this child's personal info and then follow the instructions.

But when i go to the family page, i don't see anything that says manage my child's profile info. Am I missing something?

Hi Chummy, 

The steps you are following is correct. We'd like to know which browser are you using when accessing your Microsoft account. If you are using a specific browser only, we'd suggest clearing its cache and cookies then try to go to your account again. You may also try another browser to replicate the issue if clearing cache and cookie didn't help. You should be able to see the Manage my child's profile info under Add a family member. See the picture below for your reference:

    You can, follow these steps:

        1: Log in as the adult in the family group(family.microsoft.com)

        2: Find the child's account you want promoted to an adult.

        3: Click "More options" then click "Remove from family group"

        4: Go to the bottom-ish and find "Add a family member"(It's easy to find)

        Here's how it will look when you click "Add a family member"

        5: Click "Adult" then type in the child's account email.

        6: And then type " Enter the characters you see".

        7: And last but not least, "Send invite."

            This worked for me and i hope it does for you. If you have any questions, ask away!

    • I found out a way to change it! Here's what you can do:

         Log in as the adult in the family group(family.microsoft.com) find the child's account you want promoted to an adult.

         Then, click "More options" then click "Remove from family group" and confirm it.

         And go to the bottom-ish, click "Add a family member", and there will be a pop up thing:

         

       Then, click "Adult" and put in your child's email in, and "type in the characters" and "send invite" and Ta daa, child's account becomes an       adult!

    Change an child's account, to an adult's account. This works like magic. Your welcome.

    "Manage my Child's Profile info" is there. Look further down the page. It's in an odd place...This whole Adult/child process is very buggy.
