How to Change my child's age in my family account?

I am trying to change my child's age in the family account, as it was entered incorrectly. I saw this:

I'm a parent, trying to change my child's birthdate

  1. Using the parent's Microsoft account, sign in to your Family page on the Microsoft account website.
  2. Select Manage my child's profile info.
  3. For the child’s account that you want to change, select Edit this child's personal info and then follow the instructions.

But when i go to the family page, i don't see anything that says manage my child's profile info. Am I missing something?

Hi Chummy, 

The steps you are following is correct. We'd like to know which browser are you using when accessing your Microsoft account. If you are using a specific browser only, we'd suggest clearing its cache and cookies then try to go to your account again. You may also try another browser to replicate the issue if clearing cache and cookie didn't help. You should be able to see the Manage my child's profile info under Add a family member. See the picture below for your reference:

    I would also like to know how you take off parental settings, I'm kind of confused, I went through the settings and don't see that I have any?? When I got the xbox for my son, my brother in law set it up for me, I had no clue what I was doing. My son is 11, and everytime he wants to play Ark or something, it needs my permission then I have to put in a password then it emails me a code... how do I get rid of all of that? I cant figure out how to change his age for the Microsoft account, assuming that's the issue?? Hope this makes sense, it's kind of a ramble.

    When I click the link to manage my childs info, I do not get an option to update her DOB?

    I am using Chrome browser.

    No matter what browser i use, clearing cookies, cache, etc. it will not allow me to manage or remove my child. it brings me to a page that gives me information about child protection laws in certain countries but no further options. cannot remove consent or even access how to remove consent. very frustrating. thanks microsoft!!!!
