Same here, ended up having to hold down Shift key as I clicked Restart from the power icon in corner of log in screen. Then selected Reset PC/keep personal files.
Your PIN is no longer available
I am unable to login into my computer (windows 10). I get the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change the security settings on this device. You can set up your pin again by going to settings/accounts/siding options.” There are no other options for signing in. Does anyone know what to do to login?

2018-11-30T03:28:13+00:00 FYI, this occurred - shocker - after a Windows Update. One time when trying to login it restarted and installed another update.
After the Surface pro 4 flickering screen disaster since in December 2017
I could collect after many troubles a clean refurbished machine last October in a neighbour country (air travelling hotels, etc for my own cost, because MS (a world company) has no Surface service in Indonesia....)
After start up, complete new installation and installing updates I was confronted with the above mentioned problem.
One can imagine, that I was not happy, but after a day or two there was an update at the startup up and since then the camera and or pin code works again.
After almost a year of struggling with the Pro 4, I sincerely hope I can use the machine normally....
Thanks for your reply and attention.

No access to anything but thw lock page. 2 computers in a row were returned to best buy for this problem. Microsoft provided ZERO help. Their computer their program.... I will never purchase a Microsoft computer again
