I am unable to login into my computer (windows 10). I get the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change the security settings on this device. You can set up your pin again by going to settings/accounts/siding options.”  There are no other options for signing in. Does anyone know what to do to login?

Same here, ended up having to hold down Shift key as I clicked Restart from the power icon in corner of log in screen.  Then selected Reset PC/keep personal files.

    HELP!

    Please read below . . .

We appreciate everyone's input, but please understand . . . many of us cannot log-in because our computer will no longer accept our password/pin.

    Allow me to repeat . . .

Many of us cannot log-in because our computer will no longer accept our password/pin.

No matter how many tricky ways you show us to "get in" to our Windows 10 . . . THEY ALL REQUIRE A WORKING PASSWORD.

ALAS . . . OUR PASSWORDS NO LONGER WORK!

Excuse the shouting, but can anyone provide a solution THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE A PASSWORD or some solution besides wiping our hard-drives . . . which even that may require a password . . .

Thank you all in advance for your coming aid . . .

How can I reset/restore my surface pro if it kept asking for my password that doesnt work anymore? Seems like all the options in the shift and reset method requires passwords as well. I am currently stuck with no way to access my laptop.
