After update of my windows 10 I got problem Desktop is unavailable

My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK

Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network). 

In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is 

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible 

Access is denied. -OK

Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.

I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Hi Thirut,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'

C:\users\Default\

Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder

Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder

Restart (not shut sown) your PC

    After 2 months texting HP then  HP phone help wanting $149.00 or 14.99 for 12 months; Microsoft wanting $50. ; 4th router from Verizon and hours and hours and hours Costco finally figured it out - my Network adapter was corrupt?  installed new driver and all is well ------------ so the GUARANTEE FIX FROM HP AND MICROSOFT  how much would it really have helped

    A very simple solution to this problem that will at least allow you access to your File Explorer again is to:

    1. Click the Start Button and type "cmd"
    2. Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator" (not certain admin privileges are necessary, but this is how I did it)
    3. Execute the following commands, typing them in precisely and then hitting enter

    CD C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

    MKDIR Desktop

    Afterwards, restart your system, and the error should be gone. Then you will be able to use the File Explorer to perform DaveM121's answer, which is probably the more correct solution... just hard to implement when you cannot get File Explorer to open.

    Hi DaveM121,

    I tried to follow the steps that you shared, but I can't access C:\users\Default.  When I click on the Hidden Items, there is only an icon for Bluetooth.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
