My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK

Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network).

In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible

Access is denied. -OK

Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.

I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Hi Thirut,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'

C:\users\Default\

Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder

Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder

Restart (not shut sown) your PC

I have the same exact problem and cannot access any thing  AT ALL. The most I can do is ctrl + alt + delete which gives me 4 or 5 useless options (I have tried all of them such as "Shut Down", "Restart", "Lock" , etc.)

The most I can do besides that is move where my Recycling Bin icon is.

Please help, im not concerned for my files right now, most of my personal stuff is log-in based. I am concerned for my machine.

SO I have been keeping this thread to see if I can get help. But I couldnt really find a resolution. My laptop was a work laptop and my boss sent me a JUMP DRIVE lol with NO instructions as to what I'm even supposed to do to try to get that laptop to start working again. Any suggestions? I have not tried to plug in the jump drive yet though.
