My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK
Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network).
In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible
Access is denied. -OK
Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.
I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Open Windows File Explorer
On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'
C:\users\Default\
Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder
Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile
Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder
Restart (not shut sown) your PC

I agree. I am not a techy at all. I ended up on a nearly 2 hour phone call to a very nice guy in New Delhi, India. He had control of my laptop and did all of, his magic, got to a warning screen and said, "Oh, oh." He tried again and got the same result. So, he said someone else would call the next day. The next day, the new guy called (a level two tech) and he was able to restore my laptop to normalcy. It appears to be working fine today. What they both told me was the the independent virus software that we install creates the problem because it conflicts with the embedded Microsoft Defender software that comes along with Windows 8 & 10. My research showed that Defender is not as good as what I amusing, so I turned Defender off.
Yeah, so I followed the instructions as provided earlier in this thread... formatted a 32 gig SD card, loaded the Win10 and got my laptop up and running. That lasted for 3 days. Was on the web researching a project, took a phone call, computer went into sleep mode, clicked the space bar as usual to bring it back up and was welcomed with a kaleidoscope view of the page I was viewing previously. Had to boot to Windows on drive 3. It reloaded, lost all my previous settings, passwords, etc...
Seriously? This is fast becoming a chronic issue now. As a consumer I should not have to be working on my 2 year old computer that was operating just fine before the UNSOLICTED AND MANDATORY update.
Did Microsoft hire 10 year old kids to dump this crap on the unassuming public?

Firstly never trust Microsoft updates. They have an appalling reputation of making updates a mess. My advice is once you do have your system up and running invest in an external drive and create a full petition backup. AOEMI (Google it) is a great free app). I always do a full backup before I allow any updates. If you have Windows home edition update it to the Pro version. That way you can defer updates until you have a clean working backup. It is worth the money.
