My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK
Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network).
In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible
Access is denied. -OK
Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.
I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Open Windows File Explorer
On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'
C:\users\Default\
Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder
Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile
Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder
Restart (not shut sown) your PC

I hear you, it is frustrating, im seething with this. The fact they “hope” to have a fix in 3-4 days doesnt fill me with any faith... But, im not risking a reinstall when even their tech support say there is a risk of losing your hard disk
I also run AVG Anti-virus on all of my machines. The computer that is having the problem is running 32-bit Windows. I did not have this problem with any of the computers running 64-bit Windows.
I am really worried about running a windows recovery and losing all my files. I can reinstall applications, but I have 200 Gb of data from the last 2 months that I need/want to back up first. Since I can't get Windows Explorer to work I can't move these files to one of my network drives. I can still access my network in Safe Mode, but I don't know to transfer the files with the command line interface.
Advise against "Reinstall" so we're just suppose to not use our computers until when? We all have school or work that requires using a computer and some of us don't have a second or third computer available.
I went out and bought an Apple.
