After update of my windows 10 I got problem Desktop is unavailable

My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK

Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network). 

In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is 

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible 

Access is denied. -OK

Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.

I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Hi Thirut,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'

C:\users\Default\

Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder

Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder

Restart (not shut sown) your PC

    Thanks Sumit,

    apart from the fact that NONE of us should have to go via this painful process due to the ineptitude of microsoft, indo have a question.

    after downloading etc, selecting the 64 bit option, i get asked whether i want to do a “clean install” or an install that would erase my hard disc.

    obviously, i dont want to erase my hard disc, but is a ‘clean jnstallation’ the right way to go? I have not seen this pop up referenced on yours or any posts relating to this issue.

    i dont want to select clean installation for it to cause me more problems down the line.

    Just chiming in with my "me too," Microsoft whammied my laptop on May 20. I'm glad I found this thread; I thought I had a 1200 dollar paper weight. I'm going to try all your suggestions. Fingers crossed!

    Same problem here after the update. Worked great before. On uoupda reboot got a screen asking for keyboard type several times. Finally got it to boot and now only can get a screen with only the recycle bin and almost no functionality. Alienware 13r2
