After update of my windows 10 I got problem Desktop is unavailable

My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK

Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network). 

In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is 

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible 

Access is denied. -OK

Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.

I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Hi Thirut,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'

C:\users\Default\

Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder

Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder

Restart (not shut sown) your PC

    For anyone not helped by the "solution" marked above, this is the next step.

    Basically this is a failed Windows Update install. The solution I found was to reinstall the newest Windows patch over the top, and it fixed everything and I was back to before the issue happened.

    1. Download latest Windows full patch, right now I believe 1803 or 1809, which will be a .ISO file, most likely 64bit.

    2.On a working system, format a thumb drive to NTFS (file size restriction), open and copy the contents of the .ISO into a folder.

    3.On defective computer, hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up task manager. You may have to click "more options" to see menu.

    4.Under File menu, top left, click "run new task", and "browse". This is the only way I was able to access my file system.

    5.Find your thumb drive with extracted Windows patch, and run the Setup file, clicking the box to "run as Administrator". This will run the update again, and fix Windows like nothing ever broke.

    Citicastaways, please provide some more info on the file you downloaded- I'm not sure it's the right patch number. I don't keep great track, but I thought the newer version was 1809.

    -Assuming it's the right one, it will end in .ISO  which is a certain file type. You can't send this over to your USB drive as is, because in your computers impaired state, it can't use the ISO file like it should be able to. Instead, the instructions have you open the ISO, then copy the raw files over to the drive.

    This step is crucial, because otherwise you can't access Setup, as you have found.

    Double-check for the .ISO file extension, and open this like a folder so you can see the files. If you are unable to open the file, you may have to download an ISO tool like Alcohol 120%- find on Google.

    You may also need to format your USB drive- to do this right click on it and choose format, and be sure to pick NTFS.

    *This will wipe all drive data,  and be sure you're formatting the right drive!!**

    After this resume instructions, and you should be good to go. I'll re-post them here.
