Dear Sir,

my windows 10 64-bit version 1709 updating this KB4093112 updates in a loop, that is initializing, downloading (no download stream since the 2nd loop), installing (counting from 0% to 100%), after that, the installation restarting as a loop, what is wrong with that?

I tried restart my PC but nothing help

This workload keeps my CPU working in 60% and above, HDD working in 40% above somethings (max 100% before restart), RAM usage 45%.

Can anyone help on this?

hardware configuration:

Intel CPU i5-3450S 2.8GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 1TB drive C; 2TB drive D with bitlocker locked

Display card: AMD Radeon R9 380

I was getting an error code: 0x80070bc2 when trying to install KB4093112. Following this step help resolved my problem just minutes ago:

Did you choose the right processor and the cumulative download?  It worked for me, Error 0x8024200d was gone after a reboot.

I did as you stated and deleted Update for Flash Player.  Used Windows Update to get fresh copy, and installed.  No restart needed and no problems reported.  All of the problems are now resolved.

Not sure what process/procedure to follow to minimize work, on users part to install these updates, but doing everything multiple times seems to have eventually resulted in a positive result for me, after 3-4 days of work.  I do not want to see this type of problem and effort in the future!

    Thank you for your help.

Took about 20 or more minutes to complete the update (including cycling a few time through 1-8/8 operations, then a 1-7/7 operations before finally completing successfully

Thank you, Troy, for sharing this - it worked for me too.

I join the many other W10 users here in asking Microsoft to do a better job testing future updates before they're released.

This is particularly important since Microsoft made W10 updates mandatory.
