problem on 2018-04 cumulative update (KB4093112)

Dear Sir,

my windows 10 64-bit version 1709 updating this KB4093112 updates in a loop, that is initializing, downloading (no download stream since the 2nd loop), installing (counting from 0% to 100%), after that, the installation restarting as a loop, what is wrong with that?

I tried restart my PC but nothing help

This workload keeps my CPU working in 60% and above, HDD working in 40% above somethings (max 100% before restart), RAM usage 45%.

Can anyone help on this?

hardware configuration:

Intel CPU i5-3450S 2.8GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 1TB drive C; 2TB drive D with bitlocker locked

Display card: AMD Radeon R9 380

I was getting an error code: 0x80070bc2 when trying to install KB4093112. Following this step help resolved my problem just minutes ago:

Right-click on Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
Type the following commands in Command Prompt window. To execute them, press Enter after each one.

SC config wuauserv start= auto

SC config bits start= auto

SC config cryptsvc start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

Finally, restart your PC and try to install the update that was previously returning the 0x80070bc2 error.

Did you choose the right processor and the cumulative download? It worked for me, Error 0x8024200d was gone after a reboot.

While this seems to work with KB4093112 when facing 0x80070bc2. It worked for me after 2 failures during which the updater installed an Adobe Security patch from Microsoft KB4093110 and then installed KB4093112 successfully but the updater kept on still downloading KB4093112 again after 2nd restart and failed to install KB4093112 giving a new error code 0x800706b5. Then again after a overnight shutdown it seems to have successfully installed KB4093112. Not sure why this quirky behaviour. Could someone from Microsoft explain the significance or meaning of:

errors 0x80070bc2 and 0x800706b5.

My additional question is if these configurations were originally not auto then would turning them to auto compromise the security of the computer? What are these parameters for? Can someone from Microsoft explain the significance of.
