Dear Sir,

my windows 10 64-bit version 1709 updating this KB4093112 updates in a loop, that is initializing, downloading (no download stream since the 2nd loop), installing (counting from 0% to 100%), after that, the installation restarting as a loop, what is wrong with that?

I tried restart my PC but nothing help

This workload keeps my CPU working in 60% and above, HDD working in 40% above somethings (max 100% before restart), RAM usage 45%.

Can anyone help on this?

hardware configuration:

Intel CPU i5-3450S 2.8GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 1TB drive C; 2TB drive D with bitlocker locked

Display card: AMD Radeon R9 380

Mc

I was getting an error code: 0x80070bc2 when trying to install KB4093112. Following this step help resolved my problem just minutes ago:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_10-update/error-0x80070bc2-when-windows-10-update-trying-to/ba4053f2-acec-43db-9305-bca3cc2b8b0c

  • Right-click on Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type the following commands in Command Prompt window. To execute them, press Enter after each one.

SC config wuauserv start= auto

SC config bits start= auto

SC config cryptsvc start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

  • Finally, restart your PC and try to install the update that was previously returning the 0x80070bc2 error.

Did you choose the right processor and the cumulative download?  It worked for me, Error 0x8024200d was gone after a reboot.

    Dear Bartek Paczkowski,

hope this really worth to wait, the windows update for KB4093112 keeps running in a loop everytime a restart / start the PC.

I've tried once again all method i have tired here with a restart, but still did not work for me.

Today, i turn on my PC and check the status of windows update, it told me

update ready to be install with a button "install updates", i press this button, after installation, then a loop start again, i.e. initialising... -> downloading -> installing with % count -> initialising...

I keep checking with the task manager, it consumes 50% disk workload and max 40% CPU workload.

I hope you are true, one day i turn on my PC, and this issue solved, i hope so...

Again, i have to "end task" for "Windows Update", "Update Orchestrator Service" and "Remote Access Connection Manager" to stop it from consuming my PC

    thx

    rgds,

    Mc

This is why I hate wins 10. Force update that breaks your PC. What does this update even do? Fix things for INTERNET EXPLORE. INTERNET EXPLORE? Who the hell still uses that? 2 hours spent waiting and waiting for this PC to start just for an INTERNET EXPLORE UPDATE? I DONT EVEN USE EDGE. What a joke. Where's MS head at?

My current experience is that the Cumm update finished, and the resart message has finally gone away and all is good with that update.  The Flash Player security update APPEARS to have been installed but the message "Awaiting restart to finish" remains, regardless of how many times I restart, repair, etc.  It now shows up in the installed updates, so apparently it is.  The message to update and shutdown/restart has returned to normal, though the update history shows a continuous need to restart.  I can work with fine, but it is an annoyance at this point.

It is odd that with my Wins 8.1 and Win 7 systems, I usually have no problems at all.  Win 10 is a lot , lot worse.
