problem on 2018-04 cumulative update (KB4093112)

Dear Sir,

my windows 10 64-bit version 1709 updating this KB4093112 updates in a loop, that is initializing, downloading (no download stream since the 2nd loop), installing (counting from 0% to 100%), after that, the installation restarting as a loop, what is wrong with that?

I tried restart my PC but nothing help

This workload keeps my CPU working in 60% and above, HDD working in 40% above somethings (max 100% before restart), RAM usage 45%.

Can anyone help on this?

hardware configuration:

Intel CPU i5-3450S 2.8GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 1TB drive C; 2TB drive D with bitlocker locked

Display card: AMD Radeon R9 380

Mc

I was getting an error code: 0x80070bc2 when trying to install KB4093112. Following this step help resolved my problem just minutes ago:

  • Right-click on Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type the following commands in Command Prompt window. To execute them, press Enter after each one. 

SC config wuauserv start= auto

SC config bits start= auto

SC config cryptsvc start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

  • Finally, restart your PC and try to install the update that was previously returning the 0x80070bc2 error.

Did you choose the right processor and the cumulative download?  It worked for me, Error 0x8024200d was gone after a reboot.

    My current experience is that the Cumm update finished, and the resart message has finally gone away and all is good with that update.  The Flash Player security update APPEARS to have been installed but the message "Awaiting restart to finish" remains, regardless of how many times I restart, repair, etc.  It now shows up in the installed updates, so apparently it is.  The message to update and shutdown/restart has returned to normal, though the update history shows a continuous need to restart.  I can work with fine, but it is an annoyance at this point. 

    It is odd that with my Wins 8.1 and Win 7 systems, I usually have no problems at all.  Win 10 is a lot , lot worse.

    MC same thing here also this is BAD FORM MICROSOFT STOP MAKING THE PUBLIC GUINEA PIGS!

    When I have run every Microsoft fix including command line fixes nothing works then fix it! Ran SFC nothing DISM nothing SC wuserv- auto Nothing fixing this issue. Not errors in event viewer except the failing of the kb4093112 update. No viruses or spyware on the machine no known permission issues. COME ON MAN! The manual updates look like they are only for AMD systems since when I manually run these and they say not for this system! Uninstalled my AV nothing. Computer keeps looping from this and failing. By the way no bad hardware either.

    Good News:

    This solved my issue with the endless circle of the update failing to install. It installed both the KB4093112 update and the KB 4093110 (update to Adobe flash) after 14 trys. So I been able to free up the memory involved in constantly trying to update these.

    Bad News:

    Both of these still show as needing a restart to be finish installing, even though I have checked using the "About your PC" command and they show as the current os build.  Also the shut down options no longer show update and restart/shut down but simply give you to option to sleep, shut down, or restart.

    Do we know yet when this will go away? And before you ask: Yes, I have already tried an additional restart.
