I am confused too ;)
FixMBR worked (as always), fixboot failed (as always).
Let me take some screenshots (sorry for the Dutch text, but you will recognize the buttons and locations..).
Booting
Language/keyboard choise:
Install (big button) or repair (down left-corner)
Choose for Install (big button); put the windows activation code or skip it:
Choose for upgrade (online from within windows so boot from ssd+usb drive) or clean (deletes everything).
Choose for Repair: shutdown or solve problems
Choose for solve problems: different options.
First column first row is going back to saved point in history (none for the "crash).
First column second row is back to different version of Windows (SSD has clean windows 10 install)
First column third row is repair with installationfile (gives error no file available on pc, asks for back-up)
Second column first row is startup repair, always of no help.
Second column second row is command prompt used for bootrec.
