A temporary fix is to use the key combination Windows key + Ctrl + Shift + B
I think it resets the graphics driver. Note that your screens will go blank for a second.
Hopefully the issue is resolved in the new build being released soon.

I got a problem that keeps appearing sometimes when i maximize my windows in windows 10. It looks like this:
How can i solve this? I'm running a dual screen setup and windows 10.

Do we think we are waiting for Microsoft to do an update.
The workaround is nice, but would be good to finally get a fix in place.

This occured the first time for me today. No special software, just booted with Chrome, Word and Explorer.

I tried the screen landscape to portal change. Did not. Seems a bug.
ChrisCharette can you write how you have fixed it fully?
Shall we expect from MS a batch to fix this problem?

Not all are HP machines, I have exactly same issue with:
Dell Inspiron 15 5570 Silver, 15.6 ", Full HD, 1920 x 1080 pixels, Intel Core i7, i7-8550U, 8 GB, DDR4, HDD 1000 GB, 5400 RPM, SSD 128 GB, AMD Radeon 530, GDDR5, 4 GB, Windows 10 Home.
Working on dual screens, connected via HDMI, external monitor is selected as primary. Both screens are on native resolutions (external 1920x1200, laptop 1920x1080). I would say that screen cut-off is exactly 120 pixels that is the difference between resolutions.
