State of Decay 2 crashes on startup

I get the "A running process may be interfering" notification and crash.

I got this error on my laptop when reaching the camp in the first minute of the game, right after they prompt you to loot. My desktop does it during starting the first camp. 

Both my PC's were updated this week, automatically, because we can't control them and their updates anymore.

Its not my computers, or anyone elses; this game is broke.

Your not even supposed to be on this thread. At least you can play the game, we can't even get past the damn splashscreen without crashing. Go somewhere else for your error.

My friends wants to play the game with me but it keeps crashing on his computer for some reason. My game works perfectly fine. We both got it from the Microsoft store, but whenever he launches the game, it crashes on the logo screen. I went on the game forum but found no solution.

Alright dude. I have the latest version of windows 10 like every other person and the game runs fine for me. Some of my friends and a lot of people on this thread have the game crashing, also on the latest version. Go read the thread before you post a solution (a solution that doesn't work).

Hi users, 

I had same problem during three days. I search all solutions possible, I tried contact whit SoD2 support without answer, everything. 

Here I read to change language. 

I did that, change from portuguese to British English and didn't work. 

I tried 3 times change languages, British English, American English and Brazilian Portuguese, without results.

I gave up. 

During yesterday, I made some changes in my computer.

I uninstalled all my security software to install a new one. 

When I did that, with my conputer in Anerican English, SoD2 start work. 

I didn't know if results from language changes or uninstall's, but something change to SoD2 works.

I think new update have some incompatibilities with some software.
