State of Decay 2 crashes on startup

My friends wants to play the game with me but it keeps crashing on his computer for some reason. My game works perfectly fine. We both got it from the Microsoft store, but whenever he launches the game, it crashes on the logo screen. I went on the game forum but found no solution.

    Ok, click the magnifying glass, type in language and click the gear icon on the top of that search window. It will bring up region & Language. Select that. In that window, click the line that says +Add a language. Find english (United States) and select that. 

    Windows will download the language pack. After its done downloading, restart your pc. It may take a while (Mine took about 25 mins to install the language pack) Then try to run SOD2

    Installing a second English language pack also fixed the issue for me.

    i have the same problem the game was working fine till the new update and now it stop working
