State of Decay 2 crashes on startup

Hi everybody! Ive done some extensive testing trying to figure out just how to fix this issue, from D3D adapters to localisation language packs but in the end the only thing that would fix it (it being the game just closing without any error message or crashlog on bootup) after this latest patch -

Go into 'apps' in win10 settings, find state of decay in the list, select 'Move' and choose another drive (or partition of the same drive like I did, tested both, either works). Once its done, boot up the game, should work. Itll create all the updated settings and configurations which you can then use to move it back to your primary drive and hey presto, were back in.

Honestly though this shouldn't even be something we have to deal with but for the time being, this SHOULD work for most of you.

I found solution for random crashing to desktop , you must turn off non-windows apps. Like msi afterburner,steam,torrent....etc. I tried this and works for me fine.

Best way around this is to uninstall state of decay 2 then go to the Microsoft store & go to settings, turn off update apps then reinstall state of decay until they resolve the problem for those who still cant run the game after trying all the other methods.

this way you can play the game but maybe not will friends who the patch worked for

I get the "A running process may be interfering" notification and crash.

I got this error on my laptop when reaching the camp in the first minute of the game, right after they prompt you to loot. My desktop does it during starting the first camp. 

Both my PC's were updated this week, automatically, because we can't control them and their updates anymore.

Its not my computers, or anyone elses; this game is broke.

Same problem.  Tries to load the menu and dumps.
