My friends wants to play the game with me but it keeps crashing on his computer for some reason. My game works perfectly fine. We both got it from the Microsoft store, but whenever he launches the game, it crashes on the logo screen. I went on the game forum but found no solution.

My game still works with the new patch! But a lot of my friend's games just crashes on the startup logo again. This problem needs to be sent to microsoft.

Ok, click the magnifying glass, type in language and click the gear icon on the top of that search window. It will bring up region & Language. Select that. In that window, click the line that says +Add a language. Find english (United States) and select that.

Windows will download the language pack. After its done downloading, restart your pc. It may take a while (Mine took about 25 mins to install the language pack) Then try to run SOD2

I appreciate your reply. We respect his decision for not updating his Windows 10 computer at this time. You can ask him to reset the app by performing the following steps:

    1. Press the Windows key, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. Under Apps & features, locate State of Decay 2.
    4. Click State of Decay 2, then click Advanced options.
    5. Click Reset.
    6. Restart the computer to save the changes.

Once done, let him check if he will able to play the game. If the issue persists, I suggest that he try to perform a clean boot on his computer to eliminate software conflicts. You may give this link for the steps.

Keep us posted with the result. We'd be glad to further assist you.
