Failure to install Windows 10 April Update(version 1803)

I am finding for some solution regarding Windows 10 version 1803 update issue I am facing. Whenever I upgrade my PC to the mentioned version my internet starts giving issues like every time I try to load a website it get's stuck at "Establishing secure connection" for quite some time and then sometimes the website loads or it gives error asking me to check my internet connection. After sometime my PC also starts freezing becomes slow. When I roll back the version from 1803 back to 10240 then everything starts working properly. I tried to to upgrade network drivers, display drivers but no use. My system specs are given below.

CPU: Intel Corei7 7700K @ 4.20 Ghz

RAM: 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Gaming RAM

Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z270X-Gaming 7

GPU: Zotac GTX 970 4 GB DDR5 

Primary HDD: Samsung Evo 850 500 GB SSD

OS: Window 10 Pro

I have spoken with Microsoft customer care. They even to access of my PC remotely and tried what they could but the issue is not solved yet. If anyone has a solution here kindly share with me.

I wish there was a way we could seek Financial Compensation from Microsoft for these issues! 

I have a Windows 10 Home installation upon a Sony Vaio Laptop, that for some reason stopped receiving updates a while back, and this problem only became noticeable today when the WiFi mysteriously stopped working.  After cleaning & repairing the installation (dsim, sfc) and working through the updates, I reached this 1803 update, only to be greeted with an "Undefined error" ! 

Unlike prior versions of Windows, you can no longer skip releases if they're available, so am left wondering what to do....

I am unable to install The Windows 10 Feature update to OS version 1803(from version 1709) on my PC.

It is giving 0xc1900101 error. I have all the latest drivers on my PC. The current OS build of my PC is 16299.371.

After each failure, the update gets downloaded again and it has failed 5 times.

I would be grateful if someone could please help.

Me computer had been doing the same thing yours is doing for months. I tried everything. In the end I found that several critical files that are needed by the Os were corrupted. I tried to fix them to no avail. I figured I could live with it until the next major update. I thought I could until a program that I use on a daily basis stopped working for no reason. I attempted to fix it and in the end the only thing that  did fix it was.. I regret to say.. was a fresh install of Windows.

can i ask pls.... wtf is "Windows Start Search Box" that you've mentioned becuz i cant find it anywhere!!
