Having Bluetooth Stuttering Issues on Windows 10

As of recent, when connecting any pair of bluetooth headphones or devices, I would get stuttering problems where when using bluetooth headphones, the audio would frequently cut in and out randomly, and it would frequently disconnect, even when it was fully charged. And yes, I've tried to fix the issue by disabling audio enhancements, but it hasn't helped at all. Additionally, I've had problems with other bluetooth devices where they would also frequently disconnect. Is there a fix to these problems?

I am not sure if this problem has to do with the Laptop or Windows version.

I had some time to also test the headset on my Surface Pro 6 (Winver 2004) and on that computer playback works with no problem.

But on my Fujitsu Lifebook U, (Winver 1803) the playback studders all the time.

Unfortunately I can't update Windows on the Fujitsu laptop since it's a work computer :-(

You could be correct - I'm not sure if it's Windows 10 or the device.  But you would think an updated Microsoft product (Surface Pro) that is supposed to be the latest and greatest thing, won't play a blue tooth device without major stuttering.  Others on this thread and others I have spoken to have the exact same issue.  Works great with my Android phone but not on my Pro...

    Frustrating.

It does not seem like anyone have a solution for this issue.

Do we know if Microsoft is working on a fix or not?

It's a very annoying thing that its not possible to use Bluetooth headphones on my computer, but that I have to connect to my Android Phone instead.

A solution has been listed multiple times in this thread, you just need to read through it.

As has been stated in several posts to this question, you need to update the driver of your WiFi/BT card via the manufacturer of that card, NOT via Windows Update. Multiple users, both here and in another forum, reported a fix after downloading the latest driver for their specific card from their manufacturer's website. I can personally attest, for those with cards that share WiFi/BT on the same device (such as RealTek), their latest driver heresolves the issue.

I found the website by typing in the entire name of the device as shown in Device Manager and including "driver".

Please reference my other comments in this thread for more details.

I switched from 2 to 5GHz and seems to have fixed my issues. Thanks for posting!

I have updated the drivers on my work laptop Friday, and it kind of seems to have fixed the issue.

On Firday after updating the drivers I did have some stuttering on my ROCKit earbuds, but no problems with my Jabra EVOLVE 65 headphones.

But today Monday, the stuttering seems to have gone away, at least for now.
