Today Microsoft released six updates, but I was only able to get five to successfully install. The sixth update -- KB4340558 -- continually fails with error code 80092004. The full name of the update is: Security and Quality Rollup updates for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, and 4.7.1 for Windows 8.1, RT 8.1, and Server 2012 R2 (KB 4340558) In an attempt to correct this error, I have: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter Run"dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" Stopped and restarted services pertaining to Wnidows Update -- wuauserv, bits, cryptsvc But none of these steps resolved the problem. This particular update downloads, but simply fails to install. I did a clean reinstall a couple of months ago, so I do not think my system is at fault here. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem with this update?

It's weird because the second option should serve you which is for Windows 8.1. Now I would recommend you to backup your files and install Windows again You must be joking !!

You might be able to do it using psexec to a text file with all the host names. A little info on using psexec https://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/2779/Use-PSExec-to-run-a-command-remotely.html I believe >psexec \* DISM.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup Would do every computer on the network, but TEST IT FIRST!!!! I'm merely speculating on the command. I'm using PsExec on daily basics but this is first time I see how powerfull it can be, thanks for the link ! :)

You might be able to do it using psexec to a text file with all the host names.
