My OS: Version 1709 Build 16299.214. (the latest)

    My AMD Radeon HD8570D is currently 15.200.1062.1004 - 18.2.1 Feb7

This is not a hardware problem! These problems started on Dec 15, 2017 the day Windows was update to Version 1709. Along with the reboots, users are not being logged off/out (as previously reported), also since December 15, 2017. Is there a way to remove Version 1709?

    • Does Microsoft take responsibility for OEM driver that MICROSOFT installed as part of an update?
    • Is the dump pointing to the display adapter or some other driver?
    • Am I updating the correct driver?
    • Should the mini dump, you requested, been triggered?
    • Has Trevor and/or others resolved this problem?

Thanks for your efforts, but looking at working hardware that coincidentally failed on the same day Microsoft updated the software is quite a stretch. Along with the log out problem of the same date.

Thank you for keeping us posted with the crash logs. At this point, we suggest doing a manual update of your drivers, not only to ensure that they are up to date but for us to correctly pinpoint whether the issue is software or hardware related. Once you have ensured that both your OS with the latest build and your drivers from the OEM website are up to date, and the issue still persists, this means that we need to further diagnose the integrity of your hardware as this is where your dump file has led us to.

We're still here for any of your feedback.

    Regards.

My AMD Radeon HD8570D adapter had driver 15.201.1151.108.

Automatic update driver check said Windows Determined the best driver is installed.

Installed latest from AMD(Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-18.2.1) and the version went to 15.200.1062.1004. (seemed backward)

Just to see if I now had the latest, I ran Automatic update driver and Windows reloaded

15.201.1151.108. Seems to indicate Windows likes the older version.

Now I get an error trying to load 15.200.1062.1004 (18.2.1). I have to look into it further.

Also noticed this driver was updated at the same time as the  1709 update.
