Please annoy Microsoft support over chat and call for this issue. I already did and pushed for a bug-report. Nothing happened really, but... maybe if more people are annoying...

I have this problem (BSOD in win32kbase.sys) on different computers (dell optiplex 760 & 780, optiplex 7020, hp elitedesk 800 g2, home built on MSI mainboard with core i7 3rd generation, (some with NVIDIA NVS, some integrated graphics, different software), a Surface Book (!) from 2016 ) after upgrading to Windows 10 1709 on OneNote 2016 (coming with the Office 2016 package), but only for this combination of OneNote and Windows.
We use CurrentBranch for Business Enterprise and regular Professional version.
Common is to all the cases that a more complex OneNote slide crashes faster (within seconds):
we have tables (6x20) filled with screen-captured images (~1500pixels x 1000pixels) + some text, when zooming (control + mouswheel) in these files, BSOD occurs immediately.
No special additional hardware, update level on 2017-11-15 (just received KB4048951 and others, problem persits).
On request, I could share the OneNote file.
The exactly same OneNote file makes no problems on Win 10 1703/Win7/Win 8.1, or on a Win 10 1709 running OneNote from Office 2010/2013 packages.

2018-01-03T16:03:26+00:00 I haven't tried the rollback but using the OneNote UWP App does seem to work for me. I was experiencing the issue on my Surface Pro 3 (intel graphics card) and desktop PC (Nvidia GTX970 graphics card). The error happened with OneNote 2013 & 2016 on both computers.

I'm a teacher using this to mark students work before we go back... all their coursework is on OneNote - Thanks Microsoft.
My Laptop and My desktop both get the same BSOD when opening pages in OneNote since the update. I thought it might have been my Laptop, but it literally just happened on the desktop as well. I've tried clearing the Cache in OneNote and get the same issues still.
Even more frustrating, I can't roll back easily to the previous build of Windows 10 as it only gives you 10 bloody days before that option is gone? How is that long enough to proof test something so major? it used to be 30 days.
I completely agree with everyone here, it's clear it's a windows fall update Vs OneNote issue. (I'm using 2016)
FWIW - The laptop is an ageing, Sony Vaio i5 Laptop with Nvidia on board graphics, and the other is an i5 based generic Dell Desktop with just motherboard (Intel?) based graphics.
I was just about to buy a surface pro as I've fallen so in love with OneNote and use it with all my classes, and thought this was the future of education.. Not with crap like this it isn't! Thats 3 hours of my valuable time wasted already.

2018-01-03T10:24:16+00:00 It's unlikely a hardware problem, if the same program runs with the older version of the OS with the same hardware. Besides that: Others posts indicate that various computers had the same issues after the fall update....
The Question is: If OneNote does not support a newer version of a random hardware river, is that a OneNote problem or a hardware problem?! - Is seems to my problem...:)
ps: My Surface Pro 3 has IntelGraphics, my desktop has an NVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Grahpics Card...
