I do not run any group policy, please come back to me on Security Settings in Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc).

I get the error 0x80072ee2 by running Windows Update. I have run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow with no issues, and Windows update still doesn't work. The error is not listed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10587/windows-10-get-help-with-upgrade-installation-errors

I have run Windows10Upgrade9252.exe; still the same problem.

If I run https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=875676, it's download the file on my computer, and I have no internet problems.

I have Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1709, OS build 16299.125, and I am stuck here...no update works.

This is not a practical option.

What your basically saying is manually patch the device.

We service over 2000 devices and are using the 1709x64 Enterprise edition.

Please point me to the group policy that can suppress this message instead?

The issue went away for me when I got rid of a drive with the letter A:. It seems that on systems with A:\ or B:\ drives present, Windows Update and Windows Store downloads fail. Remove the drives or map them to another letter and updates (may) start working again.
