I am looking for a fix to the file explorer instability. It hangs, shuts itself down, and sometimes I have to reboot. I was trying one of the recommended solutions given in this feed. One of the suggestions was to uninstall your display driver then restart
your computer. I was saying I only have ONE display driver and if I turn it off, what will I see after I reboot. None of the solutions I have seen so far are fixing my problem. I am not a fan of windows 10 because it has too many issues.
I just need a solution that will work for me. I have gone to control panel and worked on the settings for file explorer as recommended in one of the posts in this feed. I would be ever grateful to have some help that will result in file explorer being
stable. I am trying to back up my data to an external drive and after every 10-15 copies, file explorer gets "confused" and hangs. Sometimes it shuts itself down, other times it hangs and the only resolution I have found is to hard boot the machine. I cannot
safely shut down the computer and that bothers me. Plus, I don't know if I have lost data.
I have many pictures, videos, and other graphics; plus machine embroidery designs which are just another type of graphic (I think).
I you have a recommendation, or better yet, a real solution rather than folks having to guess to get the module fixed. I do appreciate the recommendations from the others but for my machine none of that has worked.
