how do I set up an app for amazon alexa ? as the grandkids are going ape help me please

    I didn't realise that this was the Microsoft equivalent of Ifan INT. You have a great holiday too although I don't know what Holiday, it must be some heathen part of the world wherever it is that you live !! ANYWAY if the OP has used an app to install it mine is https://alexa.amazon.co.uk/spa/index.html#cards in the browser !!.

    Well you can but I've forgotten how I did it. It wasn't complicated though. This is in answer how do you set up Alexa on WIN 7.

    You moderators don't understand the question.  Your answer is for how to set up Alexa on a smart phone or tablet (apple or android).  The question is how to set it up on a Windows 7 PC.  The true answer is you can't.  It's funny that Microsoft has Alexa apps for IOS and Android but not for Windows, it's own product.

    Microsoft doesn't own Alexa. Amazon Does. Microsoft owns Cortana.

    If your Windows 10 device has wi-fi, go to https://alexa.amazon.com/spa/index.html, click "Settings" and then click "Set up a new device."

    If your Windows 10 device does not have wi-fi, you need to find another device, like a smart phone, that does have wi-fi.
