Web browser keeps opening to msn by itself randomly

There are some simple and easy solution around which we are overlooking. You see now-a-days we all have multimedia keyboards which contains different key-binding to different programs. Some keys are set to open your default browser some are assigned to volume and some are assigned to open your emails. So at the very beginning we need to check the behavior by removing the multimedia keyboard from computer even the multifunctional Mouse. The cause may arrive from there only. In my case it happened. I removed my keyboard and attached another keyboard and the problem was immediately gone. I took the keyboard and installed at my Father's system to check if the same problem happens to my Father's system, and believe me that problem replicated itself there in my Father's computer.  So I am confirmed that the issue was causing for a faultier keyboard.

So try to do the same as I did. Check if the problem remain same or not.

this is for windows 10 not 8, browser opening to MSN randomly. but you can still have a look at the possible solution at the end of this thread may help may not with windows 8.

what I did was

1. scan with malwarebytes and adwcleaner got two suspicious files and deleted them.
2. Then scanned whole computer with Kaspersky antivirus. Got nothing suspicious by that scan.

Whatever I set as default web browser whether that be Google Chrome or Mozilla firefox they are keep opening new window and if you want count I cannot provide you because they are uncountable. Whenever I am trying to open task manager to kill the browser process, those browsers overlap my screen replicating more web browser window. Being frustrated I,

1. deleted all the partition of my all HDD(s) and make the partition void.
2. Made new partitions, installed Windows 8.1 pro again.

Now Internet Explorer keep opening continuously with fresh installation.

It is the total scenario now. What should I do now.

Try changing the registry bit first then, and be sure to reboot after. At least, this is the only windows mechanism I know of that continually tries to hit a Microsoft website periodically, and this shuts that off entirely. If this does get rid of the problem, then yeah, you've got some kind of odd connection present that windows thinks is trapped behind a web portal.
