I see {bootmgr} is no longer on top. Did you move it back down? But leave it like that for now, because {bootmgr} is probably the worst bad guy in there...

Does it say "device   unknown" for you too now in the {bootmgr} entry? On page 5 of this thread, your listing showed...

(1) That's the same one as before. I want BCD_Backup (with the underline).

(2) Did you say you downloaded Win 10 (v.1709) & created a USB Installation drive? Will you please try to boot to it? The instructions are in an earlier post.

(a) Press Esc as you boot (at the ROG logo) for the UEFI boot options.

(b) After the media boots - select "Repair this computer" (instead of to install).

Etc. - go back & look for it. It's just a test.

(b) Reboot, & hold the Esc key as it boots just before or after the ASUS ROG Logo shows up..

     The UEFI boot option screen should appear.

(c) Choose the option that boots the USB media or the DVD media.

(d) If it's to the Installation USB, choose "Repair this computer" (instead of to install).

     The computer will reboot to the recovery environment.

(e) At the "Choose an option" screen, click "Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt".

(f) At the Command Prompt, type:   DIR  C:\BU  /a

                                        Also type:  BCDEdit
