In addition to reporting the fake pop-ups themselves I would advise that you take note if there is a significant loss of performance on computer after encountering, in particular, the fake Adobe Flash Player update. If things seem sluggish you may have been subject to one of the more prevalent malicious activities known as crypto-mining/coin mining.

    In response to a reply from GreginMich of 04-26-18 sent to my inquiry regarding Trojan

    Items while on Edge Browser;

    I was on a site "Cocktails&Cocktalk" when this little beauty popped up in the middle of the screen.  I have been having Trojan pop-up issues lately, which is what initiated my post to the forum on  04-25-18.  I received the warning from Windows Defender and went to check the item out in the history etc.  It did not show in the history.  I ran the quick scan and nothing was picked up.  Now, this did not make me believe the pop-up was GENUINE.  Again to my annoyance, Malwarebytes indicated no issues at all.  Will rum FULL  WD scan overnight and go from there in the AM.  Glad someone at Microsoft is on top of this ongoing and increasing issue.   Rick

    ******* Pop-up did not copy/paste****  It was a small @ 2x2 inch box advising that my Microsoft drivers and...............might not be up to date and to click..................(link was http: not https: = flag #1.  Although these days it's hard to trust anything!!!!

    Hello Rodrigo

     I was using Edge this morning and found an article on the MSN page that sounded interesting and after about 10 seconds I was diverted to the Adobe website and Windows Defender came up a few seconds later with the JS/Flafisi.D threat was found. I was researching what it was and saw your request for information from anyone that experiences it, and I just have.

    Yes I am still seeing the popup April 23, 25,27 and 28. I use Task manager to close edge. I do not have this problem with Chrome. I have an email account and also a rewards account which I go into daily and like this morning it popped up while reading emails. My home & start up page is MSN. If this is not resolved I will have to stop using edge and the rewards and email accounts. I would think Microsoft would have a fix for this,

    This Mar 28th 2018....

    I'm having this same pest  problem!

    On and off for a couple months now. Can't understand why

    Windows virus says it does not detect when I have just been

    hit again with that JS/Flasisi:D Could it be that it hides in my

    backup drive? which is connected via which is separate from my 

    C which is my everyday drive. It seems that maybe that is why 

    the second virus has been identified as Win32/Occamy:C ?
