I’m seeing Trojan:JS/Flafisi.D detections and Tech Support Scams on the Edge browser Start page

Hi Good Day, I feel like such a dummy I panicked when I received a Drop Down informing me of a Virus and to call Microsoft immediately to clear this Horrible Virus Infecting my computer. So like an Idiot I called and I let this individual get into my system and now he had control of my computer and if I did not pay the Ransom I was Screwed. I did a lot screaming and telling him what **** he was and his mother was a **** in a Mumbai

Brothel, at this point he laughed and told me to have a good day at this point my screen, turned Blue and shut down briefly and then the screen turned on with a message to provide a password for my Microsoft Account.

I never had a password, I would normally turn my computer on and I would go directly to my MSN account and I would have no issues, I would check outlook and go through my email.

Now I can't do a thing because of the computer being Password Protected. I need help to resolve this issue.

Since the post that I am replying to, my brand new laptop has been acting more sluggish than normal.  My taskbar keeps refreshing every few minutes on the computer.  And my disk runs at 100% almost all the time when I am working.   I right-clicked on my Control Panel button, and I discovered that Flash Player (32-bit) had been installed on my device.  When I tried to delete it from my jump menu, it will not delete itself.

Well, yesterday, I decided to perform a Clean Install to rid myself of any viruses.  That did not work.  In fact, while the install was nearing its end, I received a message saying "It's taking a bit longer than expected, but we'll get there as fast as we can."  I think  that the trojan installed itself on my laptop when I tried to remove it.
