Windows Store App Icons missing only while searching

When searching for app names from the search menu in Windows 10 the icon is missing or corrupted.

The icons in the start menu appear fine.

I have tried the following:

And probably a bunch of other things I can't recall at this time. Nothing has fixed the icons.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? It appears to only be related to the search function and not the actual icons showing in the start menu.

I haven't found any way to reset the cache related to the search.

I am having this issue too. I've tried many steps such as SFC and rebuilding icon or thumbnail caches...This has been a problem going back to 2 years ago, and needs to be resolved by Microsoft, not the user.

I am having the same problem, it only happens after the FCU update. Removing Google File Stream would not help.

I tried several things but nothing helped. Onedrive by itself works fine. It seems that corruption happens as soon as another software that uses icon overlays is installed. I believe there is now enough information in this thread for Microsoft (or Google) to take a look into the issue and provide a solution.
