KB4054517 fails to install multiple times, with error 0x80070570 - now 12 times. I have tried downloading and using the standalone install packages but it still fails to update.
I cannot have my computer rebooting itself every day!!!
My Windows build is Windows 10 Pro; Version 1709; Build 16299.64.
Thanks
David
Pause Windows Update for up to 35 days. You can restart any time you want (eg after MS say they have fixed it) at any time before that.

Pause Updates
Hi swansojb
Thank you for this input. I assume, you use Windows Pro. In the menus of my Home version I do not have the Advanced option to 'Pause Updates'. Somewhere I read this is not available in every version.
Nevertheless, since we have a solution to all the troubles, I let automatic updates doing its job.
(I deleted lots of office updates, from last two weeks -did not trust them, some were listed 5 times!- ) Updates were seamless installed however, occuring not one error message. My updates were listedd properly now, one per KB-version. So, if anyone intends to do the same.... At least it worked in my system and still no abnormal disk space consumption.
Thank you and all other respondents!
