Basically, you'll have to do a clean install of Windows 10.

    See steps below.

    1. Download windows 10 bootable media creation tool here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
    2. Create a usb or dvd
    3. boot from it
    4. there will be a repair option select it and follow steps to either repair or re-install.

    Hi,

This error is usually caused by a corrupted Windows update component. For us to provide the best resolution possible, we would like to know what troubleshooting steps have you done so far? Have you tried the resolution provided in this article?

We're looking forward to your reply.

Clearly you have still not read about the issue we are all having. I cannot in fact even perform the troubleshooting steps that you have continuously copied and pasted into this thread that we have all said we are unable to perform. The computer doesn't even work enough to give us the option to do any troubleshooting procedures. I have however taken my computer to an IT specialist and these are the procedures that were attempted and the solution that was made:

None of the f functions were able to resolve anything through any steps.

Then an attempt to repair the OS through a flashdrive bootup with the Windows tool was also a failure. Any attempt to fix or repair the OS was met with a notification that the windows tool could not repair the issue and then the reboot sequence all started over again. Still, unable to even start the trouble shooting methods that keeps getting posted in here by Moderators. Still back to square one of the issue.

The only resolve that was able to happen was to remove my hard drive and pull all of my files off with a dock and software. Then, completely wipe and restore my computer back to a fresh install of Windows 10. Then after a complete wipe and reinstall of Windows, I had to drag by my files and also reinstall all of my programs that I had and was thankfully able to get off my hard drive through the dock.

Point being, Microsoft has continually offered no help other than a copy and paste of the same troubleshooting list that everyone here has said is completely useless. Microsoft has failed to even pay attention to what we have all said and diagnose the actual problem we are all having.

My business is operated on this computer, including my Quickbooks Desktop (which is designated to one computer, the one with the issues), which was unable to be used for over a month while I tried to get this problem fixed. Not only was Quickbooks unusable, but a chunk of my business was at a standstill while I devoted many, many hours to trying to fix this problem. So not only am I out the amount of valuable time I had to sacrifice to this issue, I also had to pay an IT specialist who was also very surprised with how complex the issue actually was.

Point in being, I now have a clean and fresh computer that is now for sale and I will be going back to Mac who has always provided me with excellent customer support and 100% less issues. I honestly don't know why I went back to Windows, all this has done is solidified why I had transitioned to Mac before.

I wish I could invoice Windows for the time and money I have lost because of this.
