Windows 10 Stuck on “Restoring your previous version of Windows” loop

I have a laptop running Windows 10. I updated Windows 10 last night. I start up my laptop today and it’s stuck on this loop where it’s on this screen that says “Restoring your previous version of Windows” I have no idea how to fix this. Please help.

    I can't believe they haven't done anything about this yet, it is obviously a widespread problem, I have been dealing with this for months... sometimes my computer boots and then the next time I try to restart it doesn't. It is ridiculous they haven't addressed this!!!

    Hi Jeff,

    Let us boot from Windows 10 using a installation media in a removable storage device, flash drive, or DVD and access the Advanced options. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Insert the USB or flash drive to your PC and restart.
    2. The Windows Setup screen will pop up, select language and click on Next.
    3. Choose Repair your computer.
    4. Select Troubleshoot.
    5. Click on Advanced options.
    6. Choose Command Prompt and enter the following commands: bootrec /scanos, bootrec /fixMBR, bootrec /fixBoot, bootrec /rebuildBCD.
    7. Restart PC and see if there are any changes.

    If you can't boot into windows and it is looping how the hell are you suppose to get to the desktop to initiate ANY of this? Nice reply!
