I've researched, cleared caches, and downloaded other PDF readers from the store to no luck ...
Since fixing a MAPS error with a Hard Reset, I've found that I can't open PDFs on my phone anymore. With Windows 10 on my Lumia 650 phone, the default/only way to see PDFs were (add still are) through EDGE.
When I click the file, whether it's on- or off-line, it would appear to proceed and open how it use to but end up saying:
Here is the converted link from an offline PDF file that accompanies the Message above (..the same prefix appears with online PDF files):

When I email this and other PDFs to myself or click on PDFs online and open them on my PC, I'm able to see the file through EDGE without problems/error/issue.

I am stunned at the ignorance on the part of Microsoft regarding this issue that they created and won't fix. It is huge and totally idiotic by MS to not resolve this asap. How about unrolling the update, reworking the same update and, after thorough testing, rong it out again?

Thank you for letting us know. You may encounter issues when trying to access PDF files on Microsoft Edge after the latest update on Windows 10 Mobile. We are aware of the issue and our developers are working to resolved it. Rest assured that there will be an update in an upcoming release. In the meantime, we suggest that you download and install any available PDF reader apps from the Store. Make sure that you download or save the PDF file to your phone so you can open it on the PDF reader app.

Thank you for letting us users know that you are aware of the problem but really do not have any plans to fix it quickly if at all. So once i have thrown my now non working windows phone in the bin, i wonder should i go for ios or android, i do not suppose it matters that much to me, as having been loyal windows fan for so long i am used to a complete lack of customer service, things not working and company U turns.

I agree with all that you said...yes the phone ***DID WORK!***The silence and the decision to not back-out / undo the update make me think that this was done on purpose. My plan was to hold on to my 950 until maybe the speculated folding phone or some new generation came out. Now even if a fix does appear on around March 13, it's a woefully inadequate response to the issue. If I don't see a response from the Microsoft moderator on this forum within the next 24 hours, I will assume this issue was purposefully created, and I'll make my decision to move from the windows mobile and not return.
