Hi Steven,

This error occurs due to a possible corrupted startup file. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer for 3 times to see Windows 10 Boot Options menu.
  2. Choose Troubleshoot.

3. Click on Advanced Options.

4. Select Command Prompt. 5. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following command lines and press Enterafter each: - bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd - bootrec.exe /fixmbr - bootrec.exe /fixboot 6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Let us know how it goes.

Yeah it's a shame that you have to lose everything, but at least you have a working computer. Whoever creates these viruses just to inconvenience people need to come to the light side.
