Automatic repair couldn’t repair your PC

My computer wouldn't start and entered into an Automatic Repair. The automatic repair "couldnt repair [my]PC".

It specifies the following Log file: E:\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

Hi Steven,

This error occurs due to a possible corrupted startup file. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

Restart your computer for 3 times to see Windows 10 Boot Options menu.
Choose Troubleshoot.

3. Click on Advanced Options.

4. Select Command Prompt. 5. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following command lines and press Enterafter each: - bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd - bootrec.exe /fixmbr - bootrec.exe /fixboot 6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

boot the computer with windows 10 dvd

go to command prompt

type diskaprt

list vol

find EFI partition no, Windows 10 parttion

i assume efi is 2

i assume os is C

diskpart select vol 2

assign letter=V

exit

X:\windows\system32\

type below commands

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd , if it found windows location type Y

bootsect /nt60 sys /force

or

bootsect /nt60 C: /force

or

bootsect /nt60 all /force

bcdboot C:\windows /l en-us

bcdboot c:\windows /s V:

bcdboot c:\windows /s V: /f UEFI

I don't have the EFI. I checked youtube a gentleman posted a video about renaming the system reserve file. I don't have that either!

and I'm not sure if I change the windows directory diskpart what happens :?

Hi

i gave my laptop to a family member who knows a lot about computers and spoken to many people and the consensus is they all hate windows 10 and the many issues assiciated. The help offered os beyond pointless and no matter how often you say that uou dont have a disk and cannot reboot or send back to factory settings this seems to be the only reply they can give along with command prompts that don’t work. I too am working on my masters and my only saving grace was that i saved work onto my onedrive account but lost all my research.

I don’t know how but my brother manager to download a copy of windows 10 to usb drive (must be at least 16gb) and installed it onto my laptop. Who think was reset but did fix laptop.

Hello! Thank you for the help but I’ve come to another issue. When inputting the command ‘bootrec.exe /fixboot’ I simply get a message that reads ‘Access is denied.’ My guess is that it is due to security i have installed. I use Norton Antivirus if it helps.

I knew that solution without reset or refresh or factory reset or reinstall OS. I made computer booted successfully via last known good configuration.

I solved same method three computers.

whoever call me to install the windows 10 OS initially, I enable last known good configuration without their knowledge.

If something happened or it cannot be boot.in This case I made theirs computers boot via that method.

I have already this method on my previous threads, but no one cared
